Sleep – How I’ve Missed You!

Rainbow Chenille Magic Weighted Blanket

From reverse cycling (nursing all night because she refused bottles at daycare) to being failure to thrive to plain old bad sleep habits, Frankie rarely slept through the night in the past 4 years. ⠀

When I started the gentle sleep training journey with her a month ago, I quickly found that she settled down faster and slept better with some weight on her legs. After discussing with her pediatrician, we decided to try a weighted blanket. ⠀

{gifted} Frankie and I spent hours looking at different blankets and she fell in love with this blanket from Magic Weighted Blankets. It’s the perfect weight and texture to soothe her to sleep every time. The Magic Weighted Blanket is all one piece and able to be machine washed – perfect for our messy little Frank. She drags this blanket everywhere at home and snuggles under it when she is having a meltdown.

I love supporting small family owned businesses like Magic Weighted Blankets who give back. They partner with a non-profit organization “Friends of Ward 8” to donate a certain amount of Magic Blankets every month to veterans with PTSD.

With a variety of designs and fabrics, you are sure to find the perfected weighted blanket and be able to feel good about giving back!

  2. I have heard such amazing things about weighted blankets. I was learning about how it calms you down because of the weight and pressure and how sometimes when your kids are very upset squeezing them tight can help calm them. I’ve done it several times with my son and it works like a charm. I’m going to look into getting this for my daughter. She likes to party at night…
